A
selection of her distinguished accomplishments:
- As
Director
of Information Services for
a newly acquired business, Teresa was responsible for managing
day-to-day technology issues, information collection
and help
desk
functions as well as developing
a methodology to provide for the timely procurement of
customer and sales data from 18 geographically distinct
operating units. Implementation of the data collection
plan included the conversion of
financial and customer account data,
the deployment of new operating,
financial
and communications software
as
well
as the installation of new
computer
equipment at each operating location.
- On
an interim basis, she assumed a management oversight role
to provide guidance for the information
services and billing departments of a company that operated
several department stores throughout
the Midwest.
- Teresa
created the application design for one of the first bedside
patient charting and quality control systems. Her involvement
included many hours of meetings with emergency physicians
to understand their needs and to help them codify treatment
protocols to be included with the system.
- On
several occasions she has assumed responsibility for
complex data conversions that were critical components
of system implementation projects, including a reservation
system for a major vacation wholesaler and a CRM system
for a consumer service company.
- Early
in her career, Teresa had the opportunity to participate
in the development of the first online functionality developed
for Arthur Andersen's MAC-PAC manufacturing software.
